Egg- Tankwa-I/Gr

Two Ostrich eggs in ONE. The outer layer is made up of shaped shards of hatched ostrich eggshell overlaid onto an actual empty ostrich egg. The egg is one of nature’s most striking forms, a simple pleasure to behold and a symbol of life and beauty. The Tankwa design is inspired by the mysterious ‘fairy’ circles to be found on the fringes of Southern African deserts like the Tankwa Karoo.
